I2C_transfer() not working under debugger

Hi, not sure if this is the correct place to post. I've got a custom board with TM4C1294NCPDT part running TI RTOS and trying to debug an issue with I2C3. For some reason, the I2C_transfer() call fails when running under the debugger and I see no data going out the pins. However, if I reboot outside the debugger I can see data clocking out to an EPROM I'm trying to communicate with. Any ideas?

Hello Robert,

Does the code execute or does it get stuck in a while loop? Also since you are running it under debug control, can you ensure that memory window or register window into I2C Address space is closed. You may be able to get more info on such issues with search on the TI-RTOS forum.

Thanks for the reply. The code doesn't hang, it just returns from the I2C_transfer() function with zero result and no data out the port. I'll try the RTOS forum.
