how to install tivaware for CCS in ubuntu 14.04

Hi,

I am trying to get CCS and tivaware working on Ubuntu 14.04, I installed CCS 6.1, now trying to install Tivaware,

On the tivaware download page there are several options:

* full release

* kit sofware

*full installers

*libaries

which one should I download and install?

Hi Lejun,

I am using Linux Mint and I have chosen SW-TM4C-2.1.0.12573.exe and installed using wine.

I think you can download SW-TM4C-2.1.0.12573.exe, change the extension to .zip and extract it to your folder "TI" (it's where CCS is installed).

Great, I am able to unzip the projects and open them in CCS 6.1.

I am trying to burn project0 code into the Tiva-C launchpad, but I am getting an error "Cortex_M4_0: Error connecting to the target"

Has anyone gotten this error and found a workaround?

never mind, I needed to install the driver:

Install Drivers

Go to the /ccsv6/install_scripts folder
sudo ./install_drivers.sh

processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Linux_Host_Support_CCSv6
