hello,

I'm trying to write a simple script to access, read, and/or modify registers using masks and bit shifting.

as such i have not been able to call a register, or find any example. I have already posed this question to the forum, with no help.

could you please provide me with a simple example script of how this might be accomplished?

    Hi Bryce,

    How do you usually program the TM4C123?

    Most examples from Tivaware from TM4C123 and TM4C1294 are similar. Only some are different since the TM4C1294 has some different peripherals.
    For the registers addresses consult the Datasheet on your part (TM4C1294NCPDT).

    Would you please provide details about how you are going to use this "script"? Is it going to be part of your application code or you want to add some tab in the debugger? Which debugger tool do you use?

    That's both unkind & inaccurate - is it not?   We cannot "help" one who (still) is highly unique in his "need" - and omits critical specifics - necessary to provide adequate insight.

    You'll note even vendor's Rep is unclear/uncertain - as were all of your past (would be) helpers - whom you reward with the brand of, "No help!"   Many here will surely jump to your aid with your clear, skilled & judgemental attitude...   Or not...

    Beginner confusion - lack of understanding - does not justify your (unwise) attack on those who have cast time/effort in your aid...
