i have tried the sample program in halcogen for interfacing light and temperature sensor in the RM48L952 kit . i viewed the output of SCI communication in the Serial port terminal software. i have one problem i tried to connect the analog output of flow sensor through channel 0, 1, 2 and 3 individually but i have obtained some value in serial port terminal (i have not connected any analog signal to the ADC channels).

i am trying to interface flow sensor,s analog output with the RM48L952 module (ADC1). i have worked with sample codes in halcogen and interfaced light sensor and temperature sensor with the controller module. In the schematic of RM48L952 module i have seen only two sensor modules. it is connected through channel 8 and 9 of ADC1. But i used channel 1 of ADC1 for interfacing flow sensor's analog signal. while testing i disconnected the analog signal of flow sensor from ADC1 (channel 1). but still some value i reading through the SCI communication port. how to rectify this problem.

NOTE

used SCI port to read the output value of Analog to digital converted signal output.

When ADC input is open, it is floating. The ADC will see a undefined input voltage. You can tie the pin the ground or 3.3V to check if you get the expected value.
