RM48HDK Evaluation Board

Hi,

Currently we are working on  RM48 Hercules evaluation Board, Unknowingly we connected 24V, 1.5amps rated power adapter  to the board instead of 12V d.c ,1.0amps, we are suspecting that the board got damaged, because there is no led indication after connecting to power adapter.

The current situation of the board is NO LED is glowing on connecting power adapter but still we are observing some led's glowing while connected to usb.

We need support for debugging, can any one share the maximum rated voltage for board that can support.

Please suggest further.

    Hi Naveen,

    It looks like you have a blown fuse (it is supposed to do that). You can confirm by measuring resistance across this fuse F1 (bottom side of board). This is a resettable fuse, so it should recover once the part's temperature has reduced.

    The max input voltage to be supplied is marked on the board as 12V.

    Let me know if you find out that it is not the fuse that is blown.
