Summary:

What is the version number of the Cortex-R4F Technical Reference Manual that is appriaote for the TMS570LS3137?

Detail:

I need to reference the ARM Cortex-R4F Technical Referenece Manual for the TMS570LS3137 as part of our safety case involving verification of the compiler.

I see on the ARM site that there are two editions of the ARM Cortex-R4F Technical Referenece Manual, r1p3 and r1p4.  So which one should I use?

I see in the TMS570LS31x Technical Reference Manual (SPNU499B) Nov 2012 – Revised August 2013 states:

‘For more information on the CPU reset, please refer to the Cortex-R4 Technical Reference Manual version r1p3.’

I have examined all the erratas and latest data sheet for the TMS570LS3137 but none make reference to r1p3 or r1p4.  So, am I correct in concluding that the stament in the TMS570LS31x Technical Reference Manual still stands (refers to r1p3) and the Cortex-R4F reference manual appropriate to the TMS570LS3137 is version r1p3?
