TivaWare Software download link broken on TI website

I am trying to download software from the following link:

http://www.ti.com/tool/SW-TM4C

When you click on Get Software on the top row (Complete), it takes you to another page. Click on any of the .exe files on that page and you see the error:

An error occurred while processing your request.

Reference #30.c1c58f18.1432140175.efc758c

I could not find any way to report this to TI.

Hello David

I just checked and it is working. Since all the Sync's have just completed it may have "glitch" for some time, before it stabilizes. Some other forum members I have worked with were able to access the new Tivaware yesterday.

I continue to see the issue. I see it from my Desktop computer, my Linux computer and even on my iPhone that is running on AT&T. I have only tried to do this this morning.

software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

Click on the first .exe and you will see the issue. Else, can you just send me the file I need?

Do you get the following error?

Request Entity Too Large
The requested resource
/licreg/productdownload.tsp
does not allow request data with GET requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit.

I saw the above issue just now. If yes, then try clicking the DOWNLOAD button a couple of times and it will move to the download page.

In the meantime I will inform Web Support on the issue.

Thanks Amit. When I click on the .exe link, I get the original error that I reported above. I have not seen your error.

I never see a "DOWNLOAD" button. I only see the "Get Software" button from the original SW-TM4C link, followed by the page that contains the .exe link. When I click on the .exe link, I see a page with only the text of the error on it on a white background. The address of that page is:

I am seeing this error as well. I can download any PDF file but get errors when trying .EXE and .ZIP files. Tried it many different ways with the same results each time.

It worked for me finally. This time, when I tried to download the file, it asked for my login information to E2E, as if my session had timed out. Once I re-logged into the website, the export page was presented and I finally got the download link. So if you are still having problems, try logging out of your E2E account first, so that the login screen is part of the process to download the file.

There are some updates to the web page going to happen over the weekend and may disrupt the download. Please note that if downloads do fail, then a retry after a couple of days should help

I too encountered this today.

This happened using FirefoxESR 38.4.0. When I tried it with IE11, it worked ok. Looks like this has been an issue for quite some time now.

Hi Brad,

I too encounter this error every now and then, but not just with downloads - can be pretty much anything on TI sites. It's always (so far) been solved by clearing any cookies/cache for *.ti.com. Something to do with the product view/search/whatever history size exceeding what the TI web servers can handle as input.

Personally I hate this kind of problem solving (combatting symptoms instead of the cause), but server-side ti.com is something I can't help with, perhaps TI webmasters can "duly note" this problem!

This might possibly have to do with other, non-technical (say, political) events. I noticed a general sluggishness and high latencies the last days - at least here in Europe. And some sites seem to have totally disappeared ...
