Interface DHT11 to communicate with TM4C1294XL launchpad .

hello,

I have to interface DHT11  humidity sensor with TM4C1294XL launchpad ,Please help me which code should I use ? ?

  • Hello Durgesh,

Let me "emphasize" the intent of the forum. It is sharing and collaborating and not "ready made" code distribution. Communication etween devices require some back study.

    1. What interface to be used and its understanding?
    2. Studying the reference examples in TivaWare and using the Peripheral DriverLib Guide to develop a bare code
    3. Scoping and debugging any issue (include searching the forum for related issues)

If steps 1-2-3 are good chances are you may have success, but knowing that you did 1-2-3 and reference code with issue you are seeing would be more insightful.

    Regards
    Amit
  • Bravo, Amit!     So proper and appropriate - the fact that poster "has to interface" another's device places no responsibility on those here!

There's little evidence supporting (any) efforts by poster to: search, find, read, review, then program, debug - experiment.
Those are the (usual) steps required by all here - poster's "help" is best, "self-generated" - is it not?    And - we must note - that particular sensor vendor provides substantial code examples & interface support...

Might it be (tad) unrealistic to expect that the purchase of a highly discounted eval board entitles one to (intensive & unlimited) tech support?

Oh.. good job, and now Mr Blah Blah Blah Blake what say about both of you are not solving for free this simple task?

Both refused to solve for free a simple task supporting a $10 user for free...

    http://www.stilldrinking.org/programming-sucks?fb_action_ids=10202909860701645&fb_action_types=og.recommends

This is a useless social network where no more real issue get solved and just seem serve TI to support free users from real engineer work. No useless I like, do a search for, maybe it is.. try read user manual... Who solve problem get nothing so it is not good take time away for nothing. Beta test is an expensive task and was done in the mirage to have some return from VERY HUGE LOSSES, from mine and other I seen more than some million dollar are involved in Stellaris retirement and TIVA uncertainity.. so other hundred thousand unit of monetary investment are going away.. and Blah blah blah come here saying we must support beginner asking for a few line code<!!!

Why there is no answer on long term availability of TIVA? One month elapsed.....
When TI think return the good company was few year ago?

I see no more people are asking me nothing so I say last bye, I plan to cancel account at end of summer. Site check is no more than 2 3 time month.

I forever got a good impression from great people like you Amit and all other great scientist TI has and is not able to appreciate. I disagree a lot the decision get someone from extraneous market to do a similar disaster, so I am also afraid for all old friend from National Semiconductor trapped in this nightmare.

  • Bonjourno Roberto,

Glad to note your return here - and hope to visit w/you during our Euro Sales trip planned for late summer.

While you bestowed, "Good job" upon moi - the record should show that Amit - earlier - spelled out quite clearly this forum's, "Rules of Engagement."     Thus your message does "live" - and is being acted upon.    At minimum, Amit is providing (select) poster guidance - which is an improvement.    (broader & less, "one on one" solution was your/my suggestion - rejected w/out explanation...)

Believe that I (hopefully) escaped, "Not asking/writing you."    Yet I can - and will - do much more.

Thanks Roberto for the all the help you've provided so many here - for so long.     You will be long noted & missed.

    Ciao,
