We are designing a SIL 3 61508 system based on a TMS570LS04. In the SafeTI-61508 page there are some certificates, but only for some TMS570 (LS12x/11x and LS20x/10x) and not for the TMS570LS04. There is also a certificate for SafeTI Development Process for IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 for hardware components up to SIL 3. I'm a bit confused about this. Why do some TMS570 have their own certificate and other don't? Do we have to do the same to obtain the SIL 3 certificate with a TMS570LS04 and with a TMS570LS12?
