ICDI drivers refuse to work

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EK-TM4C123GXL

Hello,

Last week, after much difficulty, I got the ICDI drivers working on my Windows 7/64bit PC, following the Stellaris Driver Installation guide. I am using a board labeled BD-ICDI-C.

Today, the board is no longer recognized. I uninstall and remove all drivers. When I plug in the board, I do NOT see "In-Circuit Debug Interface" in the detected devices popup.

Instead, when I plug in the boards, I see "Luminary Micro ICDI Board".

The drivers are not not detected when I point to the stellaris_icdi_drivers download.

If I install from CDM Driver Package, then I get the following in Device Manager:

  • Universal Serial Bus controllers/Stellaris ICDI Board A
  • Universal Serial Bus controllers/Stellaris ICDI Board B
  • Ports (COM & LPT)/Stellaris ICDI COM Port

Then LM Flash Programmer locks up at "Configuring Interface and Device ..."

If I plug in a Tiva Launchpad EK-TM4C123GXL, then Device Manager detects the debug interface according to the Stellaris Driver Installation guide. But that does no good because my target hardware requires the standalone ICDI board.

I don't want to keep struggling with this!
