Build Safe TI Library with IAR-EW

Can someone point me to instructions on how to build the Safe TI Diagnostic Library using IAR-EW rather than Code Composer Studio?

    I am not aware that anyone has done this before. Here are some generic thoughts.

    (1) Include all the source files (in CCS project) into IAR project.
    (2) Modify the link command file to IAR style.
    (3) Modify the start up functions to meet IAR style. Pay attention to the function for setting up global variables. You may need to replace with the one from IAR compiler.

    "Support for IAR IDE and tool chain (not for the TPS65381 driver or the RM57Lx and the TMS570LC43x devices)"

    I was curious what the details are behind "supporting" the IAR IDE and tool chain.
