i want to use CAN for communicating my data to AM437x. is it advisable to use CAN. is there any additional hardware need to use between microcontroller (RM48) and Processor(AM437x)?

You need to have CAN transceiver on each side.

i have CAN Tx and Rx on both the sides. what about the communication cable. shall i use normal wires??? shall i directly connect Tx of hardware A(RM48L952) to Rx of Hardware B (AM437x)

i had a look in above thread Mr.Zhaohong. did CAN Tranceiver an external device(what is DCAN block diagram of RM48L952 and what is CAN Rx and Tx pin)??.

CAN transceiver is an external device. The following is a sample spec.

i am using HDK(RM48L952). there is a CAN tranceiver IC (SN65HVD541) available in my HDK. other than this tranceiver ic any haedware needed??

You do not need any additional hardware on RM48 side. You need to check the HDK schematic to see which CAN module this transceiver is hooked.
