Two Boosterpacks working with tiva launchpad

I want to work with the kentec K-350QVG and fuel tank boosterpack on the Tiva tm4c123 launchpad. I would like to know if both boosterpacks can work simultaneously on the tiva launchpad. I am asking because both boosterpacks use pins PB4 and PB7. Furthermore, I am concerned that those pins might interfere with the functioning of both boosterpacks with the launchpad.

  • Hello Gerardo Cano,

You would need to check what function are the pins being used on the booster pack to see if they interfere. As an e.g. Function like I2C may be OK as they would communicate with different slave address

While good that you noted "pin overlap" it may be as (or more) important to verify that adequate power is available, proper and correctly routed to your board collection.   It is unlikely that the regulated voltage from a LPad will prove adquate for 2 (otherwise unpowered) accessory boards.

In addition - depending upon the port interfaces & software demands - performance of such a "board collection" may drop off.   It appears that your consideration must extend beyond PB4/PB7...
