Tiva Build Chain Broken

We've been using a TM4C123GH6PM for product development, along with a Concerto, and I've never had problems till now. The IT department recently replaced my PC, so I had to re-install Code Composer, and while my Concerto applications still build, my Tiva application does not.

I get the following error message:

This project was created for a device not currently supported: Cortex M.TM4C123GH6PM. Check for updates and visit the <a href="liveaction:OpenAppCenter">CCS App Center</a> to get the latest device support, or migrate the project to closest matching supported device by adjusting project properties.

I've tried building with a generic M4 device, but I get errors, and I've visited the app center and all my software is up to date. I've also re-installed Tiva-ware, etc.

Any ideas?

Hello Mark,

Which CCS version is being used? Also can you check if TivaC was downloaded as part of the Support Package?

I'm using CCS version 6.1.0.00104.

How do I check to see if TivaC was downloaded as part of the support package? And if it's not there, how do I add it?

Hello Mark,

I have at the time of install selected the software packages. I think you would need to do try Help -> CCS App Center to see if there is any package to add. Other than I can think of is uninstall-reinstall.

Hi Amit,

I ended up doing the brute force uninstall-reinstall method, adding the TivaC tools, and it worked.

If the developers of Code Composer could make it easier to add options after the installation by clicking additional support options that would be great.

Hello Mark,

You can surely post a discussion on the CCS Forum informing them of the same. My knowledge in CCS may not be that extensive to be able to find the drop down menu option that will allow for new installation features.
