Do you know if any application notes for TM4C xxxx device(s) can be used or any link(s) avail.

Hello David,

Please first describe your system, for an assessment as to what example would suite best. Is TM4C the audio device for playback or is the TM4C going to send audio data to another device?

But what is the PC doing: Is it a device or is it the host? And I am still unclear as to what end system you are looking. Can you draw a system diagram showing data flow and components at a high level?

Hello Amit Ashara,

I’m wonder how to find similar example that my need for

a composite USB Audio with HID interface to windows based computer that can receive and transmit audio data via haft duplex protocol to a headset for audio and microphone.

I must have to build the A/D and D/A for this. Obviously with firmware and software to use the interrupt and USB end-point operation.

BTW, TI does have the USB audio controller IC that has the HID as Audio Vol. and play back control switches, but does not allow user to do more to control the HID switch(ES) to perform

a specific task at all.

Therefore I’m looking for your help to guide me to the right place at TivaWare and TM4C MCU application.

Hi Amit,

PC is a Host to provide the audio in haft-duplex protocol to interface the controller TM4C as a USB device.

The TI TM4C interfaces to the A/D – D/A circuit or Audio CODEC (via I2S) with a HEADSET ( microphone and speakers )

Please let me know if you find me similar application or example

Hello David,

Perfect. However note that TM4C does not have a I2S interface for Audio Codec. Do you plan to emulate I2S using SPI (application note on TM4C web page) or do you plan to interface D/A converter using a parallel bus?
