Upgrading from Halcogen 3.02.02 to 4.04.00

I am getting the following errors in os_portable.h.

I'm using using CCS 5.4.0

This compiled successfully with the files generated by Halcogen 3.02.02.

What could be the issue? I have enabled GCC extensions and made other changes to remedy other errors, but this I don't understand.

Hi,

Could you tell me which version of the compiler you are using?

I'm able to compile (using compiler 5.2.4) a FreeRtos project generated by Halcogen 04.05.00 (latest version available online) without problem.

Also, CCS 5.4 is no more supported. Please use the latest version (CCS6) available for download at:

Compiler version is TI v5.0.4.

I installed CCS v6.1, but my device (TMS570LS1227) is not available in the General project properties. How do I add it?

Are you able to see other TMS570 parts?

Also can you check in Help->About Installation details what is the Hercules Emulation package?
The latest one should be 6.0.7

I can only see generic Cortex devices and several F28M devices.
I do not have Hercules Emulation package in my Installed Software.

Ok,

Maybe during the installation you missed to check in the Hercules devices.

Can you go to Help->Install New Software.

In "Work with:" select TI Hercules Device Support - TI Hercules Device Support.

Than check in Hercules Emulation 6.0.7

This should install the support for all Hercules products.

If for some reason the Hercules Emulation is not part of the list, use the Add button and type in:
Name: TI Hercules Device Support
Location: http:// software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_ccstudio/hercules/Updates/p2win32

NOTE: there is no space between http:// and software......
