I ordered samples of PN TM4C1231E6PMI7R but received this TM4C123GH6PMI7. They have the same package and the part I got has more Flash - but are they pin compatible?

The eval kit for the 1231 points to the 123 kit. I want to make sure I ave the right kit as I want to use the TM4C1231E6PMI7R in my actual design.

    Hello Calcum.

    TM4C123GH6PM is the super set part and has USB, PWM and QEI modules in addition. From a Pin Out perspective the 2 are pin compatible. Simple thing to double check is to look at the Pin Map Section of the data sheet and diff the 2 pin outs.

    However, you may still need to look at the Functional Mux Setting to see the intended pins supporting the required Peripheral have the same Port Pin.
