RM48 SCI Configuration

In Our Project we are trying to use SCI Communication using RM 48 HDK .

We know that ,

The internal SCI on the RM48L952 device is connected to the second port of the XDS100V2 (  Virtual Com Port  )

We want to use the SCI Port to connect Other physical device.

Please let us know how can we configure the Physical SCI Port On RM 48 .

Please suggest us if any Hardware Configuration to be done .

    Maltesh,

    Please have a look at the following HDK schematic extract.

    As you can see, the LIN_TX and LIN_RX are connected to the USB circuitry and also to the expansion connector J11.

    It is possible to isolate these 2 signal from the USB circuitry by removing R122 and R123.

    Please let me know if this is what you are looking for.
