Mass-Storage with TM4C123G using a micro-usbstick

Hi,

I search for a possibility to connect a mass storage to my TM4C123G Launchpad, maybe a micro usb stick. But i can't find any tutorials or libraries for connecting an usb-device.

I want to log measurement-data and i use Energia.

Any Ideas or hints?

Hello Patrick,

To connect a USB memory stick to TM4C123, you would need to adapt the example on usb_host_msc from DK-TM4C123 to the EK-TM4C123.

An SD card using SPI and FAT fs would be much easier than USB.

@amit: where can i find this example?
@randy: thanks for this idea but,
the "offical" sd-card boosterpack is not available at moment and i don't know how to connect a sd card without this boosterpack...

ok i found the usb_host_msc for dk-tm4c123 example in my tiva-ware directory, but it is a ccs-example, that could be complicated to use with energia... isn't there any energia-example?
anyway i'll have a look at this example, if i make it work on my ek-tm4c123 i'll share my code at this forum...

Hello Patrick,

Note that on the EK-TM4C123 the VBUS and ID pin are not connected and you would need to put in the resistors to get it to the connector.
