Hi,

I have a Tiva C series Launchpad (EK-TM4C123GXL) that doesn't show up in Device Manager anymore. Last time I tried switching Clock sources but forgot to turn on the second clock source before switching over. In the due course CCS got hung and I had to reset the Launchpad. After that it doesn't show up in Device Manager (Windows 7, CCS v6, TIvaware 2.1.1.71). No pop-up even about "New Device Found".

Is it possible to recover the Launchpad ?

Hi,

Maybe, you have set something with the clock that is not supported by Tiva MCU. Do you have external circuitry connected to your Tiva Launchpad? Do you see the Tiva Launchpad power led on?

Maybe you are able to recover your Tiva Launchpad using LM Flash Programer Debug Port Unlock Utility. But, the problem is your Tiva Launchpad connection to your PC does not show at your Device Manager.

Hi Markel,

The circuitry on Tiva Launchpad is intact - nothing is damaged. Yes, the power led glows when connected to a PC through the Debug USB port.

Hi Sadiq,

Try another USB cable. See, if using that makes the Tiva Launchpad connections to your PC shows up at Device Manager. If it does show up at Device Manager, use the LM Flash Programmer Debug Port Unlock Utility. Also, try at another PC.
