I'm using the TMS570LS12x device for a safety applycation
I have the following question about ADC Vref:

Is there one way to check if the Vref voltage is in the permissible range?

There is a companion PMU designed to work with the TMS570LS12x that can provide and monitor the ADC supply voltage:

I already use the TPS65381 for for voltage monitor, but it check only the voltage used to drive the external reference (in my case 3.3V), but it doesn't check the voltage generated from the voltage reference (in my case 2.5V)

I see. I guess you could take an independent supply rail off of the TPS device and convert it based on the reference (maybe the 1.2V rail). Then if it's not at the correct ratio to the reference this may be an indicator that the reference is incorrect (because the TPS would be monitoring the 1.2V rail and the 3.3V rail so only "Vref" would be in quesiton. Just an idea.
You could also post on the automotive forum to see if the TPS team has an idea about monitoring an external supply.
