Hi All,

One of my customer is looking out for PMSM Vector FOC control kit for their Hybrid car applications. I got below kit details from web DRV8301-LS12-KIT:

It is based on Hercules safety MCU, is there any firmware specifically available for this kit or else whether customer can make use of Motorware software project for Hercules safety MCU V1.03.03.03 available in web under DRV8301-LS12-KIT webpage, please advise.

Do we have any PMSM Vector FOC control kit available with encoder based on C2000 MCU's, if any kit is there kindly please suggets as well. Thanks to reply.

    Hi Aravind,

    The Hercules Motorware packages two CCS code projects for demonstrating PMSM Vector FOC control running on Hercules MCUs. These code projects can be used as references and adapted as per the actual motor being used in the customer's application.

    There was a subsequent update made to the code projects which was not rolled into another Hercules Motorware release. This update speeds up the control loop significantly as well as adds some more code examples. You can find the original Hercules Motorware as well as the patch update from this page: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../RM46_CNCD

    Install Hercules Motorware first and then unzip the patch update file to copy over existing Motorware 1.03.03.03 install.
