Get stack trace after HardFault

Can anybody tell me (is there anybody who has solid experience?) how can I dump the actual state stack just before the HardFault exception raised?

Now that would be great ... but to do that, you will need to know beforehand when the hardfault occurs. And wouldn't you have avoided it in the first place ?

I only know of tools (code) to dump the stack immediately after the Hardfault, like this here ..

Joseph Yiu's books are generally a recommended source for information about the Cortex M cores. For information on CCS support, you might need to wait for someone else - I stick to Crossworks.

Note that I haven't tried to combine these two techniques myself, so not sure how well they work.
