. Hi,
I have couple of questions on estimating the current consumption for TMS570LS3137 VCCIO and VCCP 3.3V rail.
In our design VCCP (Flash Pump) and VCCIO( I/O power supply) is driven by single 3.3V source. Also the device TMS570LS3137 is connected with few numbers of peripherals.
The TMS570LS3137 datasheet specifies ICCIO= 10mA at No DC Load and Vccmax , also Iccp(VCCP pump supply current) =60mA when Flash one of the banks is being in read mode and other bank in program or erase mode.
Q.1 If the case, can we estimate total current is sum of ICCIO(10mA), Iccp(60mA) and Peripheral drive current (Ip=Pin Capacitance *3.3V* I/O drive frequency ) ?
Q.2 As per my literature study the equation used to calculate Ip= Pin Capacitance*3.3V* I/O drive frequency is dynamic current not the steady state current. How to find out the Peripheral steady state current?
Q.3 In our application the code is running off the Flash(bank 1), no erasing or programing of other bank during unit operation time. So as per "Reduction of Power Consumption for TMS570LS3137_spna173"-- if you put all Flash bank to Sleep mode there is a reeducation of 25mA. Hence can we consider the same estimate Iccp = 60mA-25mA = 35mA?
Reply at the earliest is more appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
