TMS570LC4357 vs RM57L843

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS570LS3137, TMS570LC4357, RM57L843

Hello,

We're looking at an upgrade from the TMS570LS3137.

The differences between these two newer MCUs (TMS570LC4357 / RM57L843) seems to be minor.  So far I have found:

- 300 MHz / 330 MHz

- FlexRay / no Flexray

- big-endian / little-endian

- automotive emphasis / industrial & medical emphasis

Are there other pros/cons that I've missed?

Thanks, Charlie Johnston

  • I think you can also be seen as an important factor working temperature.

also the current consumption is different, if I'm not mistaken TMS570LC4357  current consumption is less than RM57L843, because it has a slower processor.
