Hello,
I am interested in tying the comm buses (all of them) of two RM48L952's together. This is for back-up, if one mcu fails, the other one will boot up and take over. My question is, can this be done directly for any of the comm buses? I'm looking at SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and Ethernet. I'm thinking about having a MUX that will switch between the two controllers, but if any can be tied together without a MUX that would be great. The ethernet with all it's MII lines is tricky, should I mux this?
