Binary image to bin file conversion using CCS

I am not certain what product you are referring to. However, since you have posted several recently on the Hercules processor I assume this is related.

I'm going to take a guess that this is a TM4C question - because the LM Flash programmer is the only tool that I know of which uses raw bin format. Moving it again in a moment.

You would need to add the following in Build -> Steps -> Post-build steps when you right click on the project and go to it's properties

"${CCE_INSTALL_ROOT}/utils/tiobj2bin/tiobj2bin" "${BuildArtifactFileName}" "${BuildArtifactFileBaseName}.bin" "${CG_TOOL_ROOT}/bin/armofd" "${CG_TOOL_ROOT}/bin/armhex" "${CCE_INSTALL_ROOT}/utils/tiobj2bin/mkhex4bin"

Hi Sriram,

Why do you want to use the raw .bin format with a Hercules device?  I don't think we have tools that support this.

Normally w. uniflash or CCS you download directly from an EABI ELF format object file.

But I would defer to Anthony's post. If there are no tools in Heracles device to use a bin file then why use a bin file?
