When I landed on the "Software for Tiva C Series Microcontrollers" downloads page software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html, I need some clarification on what I need and what I don't need. There are a lot of software download links with short one-liner titles but no real descriptions of what you get with each download.
For example, there's a link named "DK-TM4C129X Kit Software", what is Kit software? Do I need this in addition to the "TivaWare for Tiva series"? Then there's yet another download link called "DK-TM4C129X Kit Full Installer". How is this different from the Kit Software? The file size is significantly different between the two so there must be a big difference.
I'm trying to figure out what's included in each download. For example, when it says full install, does that mean it's a collection of the other downloads bundled into a single download? If so, which ones. Do any of these install CCS? If so I don't want that because I already have CCS installed.
