Buttons.c ALL_BUTTONS

Hi! I'm playing with the tiva C launchpad + sensor hub, I have reviewed some examples from tivaware, but I can't understand why the program knows which one is the right and left button, I mean, If I want to use the buttons of the sensorhub what do I have to change. What am I missing?

Hello Uvaldo,

You may check the schematic to find out the same. Check which Switch is connected to which GPIO. Once you know the GPIO Port and Pin Number then check in the code which is called for checking an event,

Hi Amit, I know the pin number and gpio port but in this example (freertos demo) the assignment is in the program buttons.c. I'm missing where is the statement that recognizes the left and rigth, I don't see it, where can I modify this to use the sensorhub's buttons.

Hi Uvaldo,

You need to review how SwitchTask() and SwitchTaskInit() works at freertos_demo. Review also buttons.c and buttons.h.

Thanks, I found what I was looking in buttons.h there they define Left_button and right_button :)
