EK-TM4C1294XL Launchpad and BoosterPack GPIO breakout

I would like to confirm what is needed for the EK-TM4C1294XL Launchpad to be compatible with the GPIO Breakout boosterpack. From the pictures and the diagrams, the LP has male pins on the topside of the board, and the GPIO breakout also has male pines on the topside of the board. Do any of them have the female mating connectors on the bottomside to be able to stack them together?

Also, I am assuming that the arrows on the LP must line up with the LP alignment silkscreen on the GPIO breakout board? Can two of the GPIO breakout boards fit on the Launchpad or can only one due to the size of the terminal blocks?

  • Hello David,

    Instead of the break out booster pack you may want to use the LP Breadboard connectors which have a larger set of pin functions available,

  • I most likely will not need that larger set of pin functions. The GPIO breakout is very convenient since it already has TB. What I want to know is if the LP and the GPO breakout is compatible or not, in the sense that it is stackable like how the MSP430 LP and boosterpacks are designed....And is it possible to fit two GPIO breakout headers on to the LP? I probably won't do that, but it's just in case future prototyping is needed.
