we are planning to develop a custom board for the TMS570 and we want to use a extern clock with 16MHz. Is it possible to use the external oszillator instead of a crystal resonator? We used HALCoGen to set up the PLLs and Clocks of the device but there is no option for using an external oszillator instead of the crystal..
Do i need to make any changes in HALCoGen or do i set up an external oszillator?
