Dear All,

Currently we are using CCSv6 for working with TMS320LS31HDK board. We are generating library using RVCT tool chain and linking using CCS.

Going forward, I don't want to use CCSv6 for flashing the application and debugging using CCS.

Is there any other way that I can generate the application, flash on to the board and execute?

I also want to use the SD Card for storing input and output files. How to use files stored on SD Card in the main function?

You can use uniflash to program the flash directly without using CCS.

Thanks for the information.

Regarding UniFlash, I was able to download, but when installing, I am getting following error:

There has been an error
Error getting URL
software-dl.ti.com/.../UniFlash_Win_Build_0.0.01.2869.zip
The application will exit now.
------------------------------------------

NowFlash tool is there with me which is installed. I was able to flash. Later how should I verify the code? How can I see the prints?

Regarding the SD -Card, I was not able to compile for TMS570LS31HDK. I am getting errors of endianness issue while flashing the image on the target. I modified the target settings accordingly, i.e. be32. Still I was getting the errors.

I just installed uniflash w/o any issues on a Win-7 machine. Haven't seen this error before.

We do not support NowFlash anymore, nevertheless there are options like Keepwindow and Debug ON to see whats happening in the background.

Yes that example is based on RM part, so you need to change few items as mentioned by QJ in his post.

I tried to do download manually from "software-dl.ti.com/.../UniFlash_Win_Build_0.0.01.2869.zip". I could see the file is not there.

Might be this is the issue?

I just downloaded from the "processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CCS_UniFlash_v3.4_Release_Notes, web version.
