TMS570LC4357 schematic symbol & footprint altium

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS570LC4357

Hi,

I'm searching for TMS570LC4357 schematic symbol and footprint (337-bga).

I'm using altium designer.

Any ideas?

best regards, René

  • Rene,

CAD symbols for almost *all* TI parts can be downloaded here:
    http://webench.ti.com/cad/

The file is used with UltraLibrarian which is a free download from that page. U.L. supports most CAD packages and can output the schematic symbol as well as footprint, although for a lot of cad packages it may output a 'script' to generate the symbol/footprint which you then run in the cad package. This is what it does for Eagle. Honestly I forget exactly what it does for Altium.

I think we have a problem in some of our 337ZWT files on webench though - there may be a 'padstack' error that affects the ability to output the files. If you get a padstack error then you can try one of the different output formats - and then hopefully Altium can import from one of the other packages.

If UL gives you too much trouble you can post to the Webench forum - but an alternative is also to look here: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../LAUNCHXL2-570LC43 where the EAGLE sources including the library for this part can be downloaded. Webench is preferred though.
  • I used the eagle importer! thx
