Debugging the CDC application on RM48 HDK

Hi,

I am using the CDC application on RM48 HDK provided by TI, it works fine, the driver gets successfully installed on a windows host.

I want to ask how to debug this application on RM48, because when I try to debug it, windows prompts a message that its an "unrecognized device". Also the application wiki mentions that you have to keep it in the run mode.

Since I have to add code into this example, I'll need to debug.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

(1) Debug at MCU level. You need to check if data processing is done correctly.
(2) Find the code for the communication with the host and check if you can receive and send data to host correctly.

Hi Zhaohong,

How to debug at MCU level? Does it mean disconnect USB and check if data processing is done correctly? Please explain.
I already have the host side software but wanted to debug on the RM48 side.
