I am trying to see why NAND flash is not supported indirectly, i.e. if the SW can intervene during command phase and then use direct read access over EPI. It may not be a direct NAND support i.e. CPU just presents the read address and the EPI handles the protocol.

You may want to check if such a solution is acceptable by your customer as it will have more SW operations. Also since the EPI was not designed for such an operation, it would take time for us to check on the feasibility.

But I think there are some concerns for this solution to use for customer application because they has a risk to use this as unusual.

Thank you for your kindly support.
I got feedback from my customer.
As a result, they could not accept this solution. The reasons are as below.

1. They cannot have risks to use HPI which NAND does not support officially.
If there are some issues on market, they need to support them by themselves.
2. They cannot have more man hours to evaluate the NAND software.
3. The cost of TM4C is a little steep than the other MCU(including competitor's )/DSP/MPU.
