Can you view the RAM and CPU/peripheral registers from debugger?

Yes, i can see the CPU control and peripheral registers properly. But the RAM and flash content is not proper. RAM read/writes are not happening. I am thinking that something wrong with my memory configuration. is it so??

I have seen the post and followed the same to unsecure the memory, but it did not happen. Please see the log files. I am trying with J-Link commander and IAR work bench. Both are giving different MSMPWL register content. after dummy reads i could not access the memory with my meory configuration.
my basic question, why TI ships the ICs with secured memory? actually speeking we have not programmed the IC, it is just freash IC, assembled board just we are connected to J-Link commander and trying to access the memory.
Please help me in solving the issue.Regards,Sekhar

We have done the dummy reads as per the datasheets to unlock the MSM, but still i am getting the same error. please see my log file. Why JTAG could not see the CPU clock? I am giving 1.8V 8MHz oscillator clock, and the clock is also pure.

I could not unlock the TMS470R1B1M memory. I am following the procedures what the documents says, but still i am not able to unlock the internal memory of the device.

I am still breaking my head with that issue...

I figured out the problem. You have to provide the mac file in IAR. This code will unlock the memory when you connect with JTAG. Once it unlocks the memory then it can detect the clock speed.

Good to hear that. Looks like my MCU is permanently locked, don’t know the reason. We have included the .mac file. All the options we tried. Finally we are in process of replacing the IC. Any way thanks for your suggestion. All the best
