Set up PBIST in HalCoGen

Hi All,

I want to set up and use some of the basic features of the PBIST for my hercules TMS570LC4357ZWT micro controller. We are using HalCoGen for all of our hardware abstraction setup. I was assuming there would be a PBIST tab in the HalCoGen project window (similar to I2C, SPI, etc..) However I do not see a tab, or anything for PBIST. Is the PBIST not supported in HalCoGen?

I do not see PBIST support in Halcogen. I will pass the question to the halcogen team.

Hi Warren,

Happy New Year!.

For Device Family TMS570LC43xx and RM57Lx HALCoGen does not generate Safety functions.

Please use SafeTI Diagnostics library which comes along with HALCoGen Installer or available separately for download at http://www.ti.com/tool/safeti_diag_lib

The libraries and source gets installed default at location C:\ti\Hercules\SafeTI Diagnostic Library\2.2.0.
