RM48 SDRAM Memory Alignment Exception

Hi,

we have just started using the RM48 with the fixed EMIF (L952D) and are now starting to use our external SDRAM in anger.

My question is does this interface support misaligned accesses on the SDRAM. I know that is bad practise to do this but I have some legacy code that works fine when structures are in internal SRAM, but when those structures get moved to SDRAM then the misaligned access to the field within the structure cause memory Aborts.

Does this interface support misaligned accesses?
Is this feature programmable somewhere? Currently I think our SDRAM is being covered by the background memory region in the MPU.

Does RM48 support misaligned access on this memory interface?

Kind Regards,

Owain
