TM4C1294 Ethernet circuit on a custom board

I´m developing a custom board with TM4C1294 and this board has ethernet funcionatily. The problem is that TM4C ethertnet pins are connected throught a internal cable to another board likes a backpanel. This board has a ethernet hub IC and from them there are another 2 ethernet external ports. The ethernet HUB IC is working. I removed the transformer from Launchpad and solder wires from transformer inputs to my HUB IC inputs and it works fine. But when I try to do the same with my board, the link is not establed. I´ve check 25Mhz crystal with a scope and the frequency is fine. Another peripherals are working except ethernet.

Could anybody helps me?

  • Hello Leticia,

Can you please share and check

    1. Schematics for TM4C1294 device which shows the device pins and its connection to the Hub IC
    2. Are there any loose solders on the custom board?
    3. Check in the layout that the ethernet lines are matched.

    Regards
    Amit
