RM48 and sensor interface through i2c

My objective is to extract the data in EEPROM of TSI-840523 through I2C and to perform calculation to obtain flow.

What configuration i have to use for establishing I2C communicating with EEPROM and RM48?

I dont find any address (Slave address) in the datasheet of the sensor. and also what is the address (Master address) for RM48 i have to use.

(#define Master_Address 0x26
#define Slave_Address 0x8)

I am in need of support to solve the problem soon as possible.

attached the datasheet of flow sensor TSI-8405237737.8405xx Specification Rev E.pdf

  • Manjunathan,

    The RM48 I2C peripheral has an 'Own Address Register' (OAR) and you can set it to whatever you want. But I think this is only relevant in slave mode anyway. And if it's just the RM48 and this sensor it's not critical. You should just need to know the address of the slave.

    The datasheet you sent doesn't have the information that you need to communicate with the sensor.
    You'll need to get this information from the sensor manufacturer. If it were there, I'd try to point you to the page but I barely even see that it's an I2C interface. Probably they have another different document that describes the communication protocol in more detail.
  • Thank you Mr.Anthony F. Seely

    I will contact the sensor vendor to obtain the details of I2C communication.
