RM4x Hardware CRC Check of OTP Contents

I'm using RM48L950ZWT.

I found that the description of "7.52 Hardware CRC Check of OTP Contents" in RM48x Safety Manual(SPNU577C)

is different from that in RM46x Safety Manual(SPNU551B).

RM46x Safety Manual says about CRC module and the description seems to be right.

I'm afraid the description of RM48x Safety Manual (SPNU577C) is wrong.

Is that right?

To me it just looks like the newer document has additional guidance.
The older doc says to do the same check but doesn't necessarily suggest a particular method.

You can use the "Submit Documentation Feedback" button on the bottom of the page to request that first doc be enhanced.
