Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TM4C129XNCZAD, SW-TM4C

hi,

i m new guy please suggest required programming documents for  TM4C129XNCZAD thanks for your help

  • Hello Basawaraj,

I think a good starting point for beginners is here www.ti.com/.../projects.html.

Alternatively, you can can start off by installing TivaWare. TivaWare installer can be downloaded from www.ti.com/tool/sw-tm4c. The "docs" folder has documents for the different libraries and boards.

I would suggest that you first try simpler examples like "blinky" and "uart_echo". These examples will demonstrate the use of TivaWare.

You might also have to look at the documentation of the toolchain to import projects, build, run and debug.

    Good luck!

  • Greeting again Sai,

Once more - may I salute your kindness & fine direction. Proper "starting point" is a terrific recognition - it's rare that posters have the ability to determine such "starting point" w/out guidance.

Your direction towards "blinky" and "uart_echo" again raises the odds of beginner poster success. Giving posters the best chance to succeed pays off to all here.

One last point - suspect you'll agree - posters often feel compelled to, "Create their own project."   And most always - Fail! (and never/ever do they detail "Why" they feel so compelled.)   Attaching to "known good, factory created project" proves far safer, easier - should be (more) powerfully (i.e. "somewhat") promoted...

I don't think I mentioned anything about creating own projects. But I share your opinion on using projects from existing/working examples instead of creating own projects.
    Thanks,
    Sai
  • Indeed - you never mentioned, "Users creating their OWN Projects." Nor did I suggest that you made such mention.

Time & again here we learn of "posters in plight" and so often (always?) when they create their own (never justified - had I said that) they Crash/Burn - again an issue to be covered under guidelines. Forum exists to guide/assist - guideline-LIGHT (non-existent, really) may not prove ideal...
