Since you don't ask for a output I guess you already know about Tivaware's examples? If not, remember to check out the examples that come with the Tivaware package.
Learning to find information by yourself is a great skill. You should invest time on that.
Here is a way to configure a pin as a input with Tivaware

Well advised, Luis.
Strange (or not) that posters land here (often) completely unaware of the abundance of example programs which you note.
Perhaps forum mgmt. may wish to explore that (very) repeated, "Lack of key - MCU resource - awareness" demonstrated by (so many) posters.
Are the posters (entirely) to blame? Many here note (uber vital) "Blogs, Groups, Videos" - in highlight - atop the forum - yet NOT ONE WORD devoted to resource identification!
As Luis suggests - "finding HIDDEN information" is a great skill. Clearly an improved (i.e. "some"), "Presentation of vital MCU resources" would ease posters' plight... Dedicating "beachfront property" (red stripe - in highlight - atop the forum) to "trivia" rather than the far more needed "MCU resources" defies explanation...
