RM57L843 with HALCoGen and Keil uVision

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: RM57L843, HALCOGEN

Good morning,

I am considering the RM57L843 for a product redesign in my company. I would prefer to program it with Keil uVision since we use this IDE for some time now. The description of your HALCoGen Tool says it can generate files which can be imported by uVision and after installing the software I found a howto (application note 210) on how to create uVision Projects from HALCoGen Projects. But from this point on, everything seemed to be outdated:

  • The HowTo says to choose the ARM Tool while creating the HALCoGen project, but there are only the choices IAR-, GHS- and GCC-Tool.
  • I can't find a device family pack (DFP) of the RM57L for importation in uVision
  • All the posts in this forum and the TI wiki about Keil and uVision seem to be several years old

Is there still a support for Keil uVision?

Do I have to consider another solution?

Is there may be a better support for the TMS570L which seems to be similar to the RM57 except from a few features?

regards from Germany,

Moritz
