QEI Module 0 stops working all of a sudden on tm4c123gxl launchpad..

I was operating on both QEI 0 and QEI 1. Due to some undetectable reason QEI 0 pins PD6 and PD7 have stopped working....they do not recognize edges.
I tried to erase, reset and unlock but no improvements.

Does this tiva tm4c123gxl launchpad come under any warranty. It's been a couple of weeks.

    Might those (undetectable) reasons be improper handling or signal levels or mis-connects - on or around those unfortunate pins?

    Vendor here  builds hundreds of thousands of such MCUs - we individual users - not so much.

    I'd ask, "What is "your" warranty" that your handling, signal introductions & ESD avoidance - at all times - were (and remain) quite proper?
