The M3 memory controller will support SDRAM, will M4 support DDR/DDR2? If so, any idea what speed will be supported?

Terry, while TI has announced that it is working on a Cortex-M4 product, that product has not been announced, and it is not public. That limits the information that can disclosed in a public forum. I'd suggest talking to your local TI folks directly.
