Obtaining outputs from BOOSTXL-SENSHUB using PuTTY

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EK-TM4C123GXL

So, I've been trying to read numerical outputs from my BOOSTXL-SENSHUB (connected via a EK-TM4C123GXL, currently programmed with example humidity_sht21.bin) to my computer. I chose PuTTY because I saw another user utilize it for this purpose. I am a bit overwhelmed by the program, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Here's my problem: after I choose Connection Type and Serial Line (trial and error indicates it's COM3), I don't get nice lines of data. The first time the PuTTY window just remained blank.

The second time, it instantly brought up two lines of humidity/ temperature data, but then started giving me gibberish.

I tried it a third time and got a similar result.

The gibberish appears one character at a time, roughly every second or so. I really don't know what's causing them to appear, and I really don't understand why PuTTY changes the lines on which it is writing.

Obviously, there's something I'm not comprehending, either with my device or PuTTY. Are there commands/ syntax I can input to PuTTY to make the program continue to output sensor data? Also, if the way I'm doing this is more complex/ indirect than it needs to be, please let me know of alternatives! I'm using PuTTY because I know it has the capability to give me what I want, and for basically no other reason than that.

PS- Tried pasting in screenshots from a Word Doc using the "Paste from Word" button, but it doesn't seem to be working. If pictures of the output would be useful to you, let me know and I'll try to get them in somehow.
