XDS100v2 not working

Hey,

we have some XDS100v2 Debug probes (Ti-shaped), which we want to use for flashing our chips.
But we run into an issue non of the three debug probes we have are working. (With the TMS570 HDK)
They all get the same errors. When i hit connection it print out some stuff and then say integration test failed.

When i try to run debug i get an error.

No idee what it can be ... don't think that 3 debug probes are damaged.
Does someone have an idea what the problem is ?

Are you using the XDS100V2 which is on-board the HDK? Is the device powered up properly? (In general, the TMS570 HDK's are not powered by the XDS100 USB. Which TMS570 HDK are you using?) Finally, have you previously programmed code into the HDK? If a user code causes continuous resets, you will not be able to easily connect with JTAG. You can try to hold the reset, "RST", button down and release it when the XDS100 tries to connect. It might take several tries to get the right timing. If you have code that can cause continuous resets it is a good idea to make the reset vector a branch to self and let the debugger point the PC to the start address until you can debug the cause of the continuous resets.

With the XDS100V2 which is onboard it is no problem to program our TMS570LS12X HDK.
But we wanted to try out our external Debuggers.
We made found an problem. It seems like the TI Shaped Logo debugger has an TI 20Pin Jtag Interface and the HDK has an ARM 20 Pin interface.
I'll report soon if that is the real problem

We solved the problem by building an adapter from TI layout to ARM layout.
Hope that answer helps other people with that problem.

But to confirm, the TI 20 pin isn't the same size as the ARM 20 pin. The TI 20 pin header is supposed to be 0.50"x0.100" whereas the ARM 20 on the HDK is 0.100"x0.100". So should not have been possible to plug the two together anyway. Did you just try a straight-through adapter of some sort? Or did you find someone making an XDS100v2 that has a TI CTI-20 pinout but on 0.100"x0.100" grid?
