TM4C123GH6PMI controller can be used for automotive application?

Hello All,

I have got an good hands on with TIVA Launchpad and so is with TIVA C family.

I want to go ahead with some development in automotive application.

Can I use it directly? Is this IC an automotive grade?

Hello Mitesh,

No TM4C devices are not automotive grade devices.

Hello Mitesh,

To follow on to Amit's post, our group also supports the the Hercules TMS570 line of MCUs which are all auto qualified. Although this line of MCUs uses a different architecture, it is an ARM based platform using the Cortex R4 cores. There is a complete family of devices from 128KB flash/80MHz up to 4MB flash/300Mhz to choose from.
