Grlib gcc lib.a "hard"

I want to use grlib with another library which is in "hard"

As far as I remember hard is not supported in TM4C library under GCC tool chain. You would need to use softvfp.

I don't know CCS in this regard, but it would surprise me. Other gcc toolchains, even free one's, surely support "float-abi=hard". And as a matter of fact, all components of an application must use the same ABI, else the build fails.

OTOH, you are correct about softfp. If the O.P. has the sources for his ("other") libraries, he can rebuild them. "softfp" is only marginally slower than "hard", except in rare cases.

The thing is, i cannot recompile grlib using "hard" because i have the wrong version of compiler and I have restriction on a school computer.

I was asking here if anyone could import the grlib ccs folder, change to hard, change to gcc compiler, compile, and send me the libgr.a !
